A temperature over 100 degrees is considered a fever. If a child has a fever and no other significant symptoms you may observe the child for 24 hours. However, we are happy to see your child sooner if you desire.
Please call us immediately for a fever in a child less than three months old!
When using acetaminophen or ibuprofen, please give the dose based on weight (if known) rather than age.
